Disable/Enable Start Menu Logoff

XP_SMLogoff.exe - Disable/Enable Log Off on Start Menu

This small utility will remove the Log Off option from XP's Start Menu.

This is done by changing the adding/changing the StartMenuLogoff value in:

HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Usage: Download the XP_SMLogoff.zip file, and save this file to your hard drive. Navigate to where you saved the file and double click it and extract XP_SMLogoff.exe. Run XP_SMLogoff.exe. A confirmation dialog will appear when finished. You will need to log off/back on or restart your computer for the change to take effect.
