System Uptime v2.0
Copyright 2002-2004 - Doug Knox

This small GUI (Graphical User Interface) utility will display your current System Uptime in Weeks, Days, Hours and Minutes. There is no install/uninstall.  Download and extract the EXE file to your hard drive.  Create a shortcut to XP_SystemUptime.exe in your Startup folder, or anywhere you desire. To remove System Uptime, simply delete the EXE file and any shortcut you create.  This application is freeware.

Version 1.1.5 added System Tray support with Uptime displayed on mouseover and corrected a bug in the uptime calculations.

Version 2.0 uses new routines to get the system uptime, using API calls to the PDH.DLL. The code for this routine was provided by Mattias Sjögren,

Windows XP (may run on Windows 2000).  Requires VB6 Runtime Library (installed on XP by default).

Some users report that they receive an error that the MSSTDFMT.DLL is required.  You can download it here, if needed.  Unzip the DLL into the Windows\System32 folder.  Click Start, Run and enter REGSVR32 %systemroot%\system32\msstdfmt.dll to register the DLL.
