The major portion of these scripts work under Windows XP, as well as 95/98/Me.  If you encounter problems with a restriction "not" working in XP, try the WinXP Tips and WinXP Fixes sections. Clicking on a link will open a new window with the description of the file and its usage. Click on the DOWNLOAD link on the new page to download the file. All of these files are in VB Script format. 

Prevent Unauthorized Users from accessing your computer (95/98/Me)
Force users to have a valid user name and password on the system.

Note: Many of these items are User specific settings. If you have User Profiles enabled, it may be necessary to run each VBS file while logged into to that User's desktop.  If your anti-virus software warns you of a "malicious" script, this is normal if you have "Script Safe" or similar technology enabled.  These scripts are not malicious, but they do make changes to the System Registry.
