Walk for a Cure - Juvenile Diabetes
Since I began maintaining this web site, the fixes, tweaks and tips have been offered free of charge. There are a few new utilities that have a nominal fee for licensing. However, if you find the information, that I've presented here, useful, please consider making a donation to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or you can click here to make a support contribution for this site.
These VB Script files and utilities are presented "as is". Every effort has been made to ensure that the files work as stated. Some of the scripts on these pages require Windows Scripting Host v2.0(beta) or higher and/or VB Scripting Engine v5.1 or higher. I assume no responsibility for your use of these files. Ensure that you have a known good backup of the Registry before using these files. I assume no responsibility for the purpose to which any of these files is used. This includes employees attempting to bypass restrictions put into place by System Administrators on corporate machines.
The links to the left will take you to pages containing Tweaks, Tips and Fixes for Windows® 95/98/Me/XP.
Almost all of these fixes are written in VB Script. The exceptions are for Windows XP. Some utilities have been converted to Visual Basic 6 applications. Don't worry, they run fine under XP. Each link brings up a new page with instructions and a download link. Some of the VB Scripts require VB Script 5.1, or higher and Windows Scripting Host 2.0 or higher to run. They can be downloaded here.
Some of the Tweaks are present in more than one page, if they apply to more than one category. Also, if you find any of these useful, helpful or destructive, drop me a note.
If you know of a Tweak, Fix or Utility that you don't see here, please send me a note with the location where it can be found. You can also send Tweaks, Fixes and Utilities to me for addition to these pages. Please include a short description of what it does and how to use it. Also, look over the entire library here before sending. I may already have it.
